I am a psychologist specializing in trauma, anxiety and emotional eating. I specialize in helping those who have tried a lot of approaches and continue to feel stuck in their efforts to control their symptoms.
I am a certified EMDR Therapist. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, body-centered work and EMDR to help you reach your goals.
I am passionate about helping people gain freedom from overwhelming and pervasive emotional and behavioral patterns.
You can live your life from a place of balance and self-love. I enjoy seeing my clients find peace, heal wounds and expand their perception of what they think they are capable of.
I earned my Master’s and Doctorate Degrees from the Wright Institute and my Bachelor’s Degree from UC Berkeley. I currently work in my private practice.
My approach to psychotherapy is client centered, empathetic, collaborative and active. I capitalize on clients’ strengths and do not believe that anyone is broken or “sick”. Just as the negative patterns have been learned and reinforced, they can be healed with the right tools.
The power in the therapy room always lies with you. I am a facilitator and a guide in the process who helps to nurture your inner resources and wisdom.
I see adults and young adults in my practice.
